Grandmother's Trip to Memphis

Yes, I went to Memphis on Friday, Jan. 27 and stayed until Sunday, the 29th. My niece Magan Horne went with me on this long journey of 4 and 1/2 hours. Our precious Noah was so happy! We went to Logan's Roadhouse for supper the first night. Of course we received a lot of attention because baby Noah's dad, Randy is the general manager there and all of the employees had to gather around and exclaim about the beautiful baby! The next day was spent at home then out shopping and on to supper at Applebees. Again we were the center of attention because we had the prize, baby Noah! Sunday morning we prepared to come home, then went to Perkins Restaurant for one of their wonderful breakfasts. Again there were servers and customers stopping in their tracks to view our precious Noah. We parted company there tearfully and made our way back to Alabama. I got so sleepy driving that I stopped and walked some, then bought crushed ice and peanuts to help keep me awake the other 3 hours, and Thank God we made it safely home. Goodbye for now Noah......

Misty's Birthday

February 2nd will be Misty's 29th birthday, REALLY. We will be celebrating with her at Logan's Roadhouse at 1 pm. Come if you would like and be with us.

I wonder if she would get mad if I said "which birthday"? Any way.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VICKEY! ! ! And we wish for you many more because we love you! Vickey's family took her to The Top of the River Restaurant on Monday night and Sherry and Jonathan tagged along. The servers did sing to her.

Hannah Horne And Matt Smothers were united in marriage on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 1pm. The simple ceremony performed by Reverend Michael Brand was held at the home of the bride's parents, Vickey and Harlon Willett, with a few family and close friends present. The newlyweds and the group went to Western Sizzlin Restaurant for a meal before Hannah and Matt left for Gatlinburg to honeymoon.

Hello world, I 've just arrived,

not even dressed yet!

I was born at 4:39pm

on Friday the 13th and

I weighed 7 lbs. and 1 oz.

and I'm 19 inches long I'm one day old now and enjoying

being held by my paw-paw Buddy. I'm 2 days old and headed for home! It feels so good to be home,

resting on mommy & daddy's big bed.

I am now 3 days old and I'm a very good baby!

Resting comfortably on my 4th day...... Me and my BIG paci on my 5th day in this new world!

Did someone say Santa had already come and gone?

Celebration

A group of 13 people gathered at the Lumpkin House today to celebrate Anita's birthday. We had lunch and of course there were gifts for the birthday girl! We had a good time! If you see Anita soon, ask her if she has worn the purple stelletos yet?
