Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable.

What Am I?
What Am I
I am a round object, dark brown in color, with a grass like covering.
On the bottom, I have three small black eyes.
To feel me, it would feel like you are touching a tree.
Poke me, and all you will feel is an extremely hard shell.
Smell me and you will smell mud.
Taste my shell and you will taste tree bark.
Knock me against the ground, and you will hear a hard thump.
Do you know what I am?
Once you open me up, which in general is hard to do,
I have a clear milky substance that drains out.
It smells really sweet and bitter at the same time.
My inner shell is almost like that of my outer shell,
very dark brown in color except I have a smooth casing.
Inside of my shell, there is a very smooth white substance,
about one or two inches thick that is widely know for its blissful goodness.
To smell my white goodness, is pure heaven.
I would remind you of a tropical island or a luau.
To taste me is divine. I have a soft sweet flavor that you can savor for days.
I look very amusing, no color except for white.
Do you know what I am?
I am considered a delicacy in some countries.
I am widely known for my sweet smelling flavor, which is often copied.
Although not very pretty to look at, I am very popular.
My milky goodness is extremely tasteful and yummy.
When you see me, you will want to eat me.
When you eat me, you will never want to stop because I am so delicious.
So, do you know what I am?
I am a fruit, the only one that deserves a five star rating.
I am a coconut.

Baby Noah's Visit With Grandmother
Playing with paw-paw early in the morn while my parents sleep! ...doing pretty good at holding up my head, huh?
Those duckies from Aunt Fran just
wore me out at bathtime!!
I'm sooooo sleepy....
Randy & Jessica brought lots of cheer when they came with the baby to visit grandmother on Monday, Feb. 20. I really enjoyed sitting and rocking him for the duration of two days. He is so precious! He is 5 1/2 weeks old now and weighs 9 pounds. These are some new pics from this visit.

Hannah & Matthew Smothers' Reception
Click on any pic to enlarge..
On February 4, a wedding reception/shower was given by family and friends for the newlyweds. Approximately 50-60 people attended this event at Elliott Community Center, Gadsden, AL. With the help of a very special person, the large L shaped room was decorated with lattice, columns, balloons, flowers, candles, lace table covers and pictures of the bride and groom using the colors purple and white along with beautiful glassware serving pieces. The guests and newlyweds were served several types of food and of course bridal cake and purple punch! Hannah and Matt received numerous gifts that they opened and displayed at the shower. There was quite a variety. We enjoyed this event! Thanks to everyone who helped with the food, cleanup, decorating and any other thing that you might have done to make this happen. And of course a special
"thank you" for the gifts and your attendance.

It's a special joy remembering you
on Valentine's Day--
with smiles and prayers, and the very
warmest wishes that His blessings
fill your heart with happiness.
Just passing along the same heartfelt
words that Hannah gave to me on this
